Meet Lisa

Lisa is a Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She provides individual therapy and facilitates therapeutic groups. She brings over 25 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, along with certifications as a Yoga Instructor, Meditation Teacher, Mindfulness Coach, and Breathwork Facilitator. Her work is grounded in an integrative, mind–body approach that supports emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and nervous system regulation.

In her practice, Lisa draws on an integrative and evidence-informed approach, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy (NT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Humanistic/Client-Centered Therapy (HCCT), Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), alongside mindfulness, somatic awareness, and breath-based interventions.

She works with both teens and adults, tailoring her approach to meet the needs and goals of those she supports. Lisa supports clients in gently exploring their internal experiences and in identifying patterns in thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. Her work focuses on increasing insight, strengthening emotional regulation, and building adaptive coping strategies that support greater flexibility in responding to life’s challenges.

Lisa holds a compassionate and non-judgmental view of psychological distress, seeing it as a meaningful and human response to lived experience. Her work is guided by the principles of Insight, Integration, and Impact—supporting clients in developing deeper awareness of their internal experiences, integrating new understanding into meaningful change, and translating this work into sustainable, values-aligned ways of living. She aims to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel supported in self-awareness, growth, and wellbeing

"I LOVED this course. I found this to be a very beneficial and well structured course. After 8 weeks, I can feel a difference in my stress and anxiety levels compared to when I started the course. It was good for me to follow a course with weekly activities rather than read a self help book as it helped me to stick at it. I found it much easier to do the microhits and am now making this a part of my daily mindfulness exercises. On one of the coldest days we have had so far, I had the privilege to try breathwork in Lisa’s cozy studio. Hearing her voice throughout the session soothed my anxiety and allowed me to focus on nothingness.
